A Reenactment Skirmish Credit: Kyle D. Yates Photography

Take a walk back in time and visit the beautiful Cook Forest State Park for a series of living history events depicting life during the French & Indian War.

A two-day encampment on June 11 and 12 at the Sawmill Center for the Arts in Cook Forest State Park features demonstrations including blacksmithing, cooking, surgical techniques, and much more!  You'll want to stick around for the cannon and musket firing while over 200 British, Colonial, French and Native American reenactors portray lifestyles of the 18th century.
