Summer Acting Camp
August 14-19, 2017
Camp meets Monday through Friday from 9:00AM-3:00PM.
Students will enjoy a whirlwind week of Improvisation, Comedy, Acting and Movement Classes! The camp week will culminate in TWO showcases for friends and family (Fri. Aug. 18th and Sat. Aug. 19th).
**SPECIAL WORKSHOPS WITH EXCITING GUEST ARTISTS WILL TAKE PLACE EVERY DAY!
Summer Acting Camp cost for the week:
$250.00 per student – Early Bird Rate through May 31 (Sign up NOW and SAVE!)
$300.00 per student – beginning June 1st
Sibling Discount – If registering more than one child, save $50 EACH!
Two children in family: $100 off total
Three children in family: $150 off total
Registration begins March 15 and continues through August 7th, OR until all slots are filled (space is limited).
Total fee is due at the time of registration. $25 cancellation fee until July 1st. No refunds after July 2nd.

Meet the Instructors

Ms. Parrish recently returned to Pittsburgh after five seasons as Artistic Director of the Gilbert Theater in North Carolina. An actress, director and playwright, Robyne has extensive experience in all things theatrical. Her most recent Pittsburgh directing work was The Musical of Musicals the Musical at Off the Wall in Carnegie. Robyne is currently directing 4.48 Psychosis at Off the Wall, followed by Violet with Front Porch Theatricals in May.
Robyne’s many directing credits include The Diary of Anne Frank, Much Ado About Nothing, A Christmas Carol, The Fantasticks and The Zero Hour. As an actress, Robyne has worked locally at the City Theatre, The REP, Quantum and Bricolage, to name a few. She was also the assistant to the Company Manager of WICKED on Broadway.
Robyne holds a BFA from the University of North Carolina School of the Arts and was an MFA graduate candidate at Point Park University in Theatre and Pedagogy for three years. Robyne has been a theatre educator for more than 15 years directing and teaching students from grade school through the collegiate level.

Heidi Nagle is a Pittsburgh-based Stage Manager and Founding Co-Artistic Director of the sketch comedy troupe The Harvey Wallbangers.
Heidi recently premiered the 2nd production of her original one-woman sketch comedy show This is Why We Can’t Have Nice Things.
During her work with Squonk Opera, Heidi assisted in presenting workshops and student-focused productions of GO Roadshow, Pneumatica, and Cycle Sonic to schools across the tri-state region. She has worked with various companies and theaters throughout Pittsburgh, including The New Hazlett Theater, City Theater Company, Squonk Opera, Hiawatha Project, Bob Steineck & Associates, No Name Players, Prime Stage Theater, and the Kelly Strayhorn Theatre.
Heidi graduated from the University of Pittsburgh with dual Bachelors degrees in Theatre Arts and Communications.
