A Note from the Folks at Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks

Pittsburgh Shakespeare in the Parks presents Henry V weekends in September, and we have opportunities for front of house volunteers.

Volunteer duties might include: ushering, counting audience members, collecting contributions, selling water bottles or other concessions, or other duties as they come up.

Performances are at 2:00 Saturdays and Sundays in September. Volunteers start at 12:30 to help set up and stay until about 4:00.

Alan Irvine is our director this year, and Lamar Cheston is our Henry. Henry V promises to immerse audience members in the action of the play – a play that invites us to think about themes of unity and division; leadership and tyranny.

If you are interested in volunteering, please contact Rebecca O’Connell at Include your interests and availability.

We hope that you will be part of bringing accessible, high-quality, free Shakespeare to our neighbors in Pittsburgh Parks.
